The Plague Doctor

is a psychological thriller set in Venice, with dark atmospheres inspired by stories and legends tied in with the historical figure of the Plague Doctor, a mysterious Venetian Mask, and with Poveglia, an ancient island of the Venetian Lagoon, well known for its gruesome events.

Synopsis

In 1823 a young doctor is called back to his hometown, Venice Italy, to treat a sick woman. The echoes of his past pull him on a surreal and enigmatic journey towards the discovery of himself, clashing with the mysterious figure of the Plague Doctor.
